My mom and few old folks got this CPF letter...what is it saying?

It seems to be saying they will get monthly pay out of $350 if they have $350 or more on Jan of the year..

Shouldnt it be if you have more than $350 in your account we will have you $350vmonthly or lower if you have less than $350 jn your account.

What's significance of mount in CPF  in Jan. Shouldn't ot be based on  what ever is available at the time month instalment is distributed?

How is any one expected to understand this letter?

So if no balance and no accrued interest of more than 350 dollar no payout? Then why the govt sing song until like they are giving out free money to those not having any money to draw upon? Lol

my parents do received this letter,

yup is monthly deduct from your CPF account till zero aka you take back your money but in limited amount so call 350 monthly till your CPF amount empty.

My parents told me perhaps a lot withdraw put in bank due to high interests so CPF like " LPPL " just let people withdraw.

actually put it SIMPLE , CPF now automatic Force you withdraw.
My parents never opt in monthly withdraw in fact now CPF automatic make it.

They increase the monthly payout nowadays citing to help out the rising cost of living which was actually caused by their inconsiderate hiked in GST, electricity, water, rental, etc. With the increment in payout, your parents account will be depleted faster. It doesn't mean the increment is subsidise by them.   Rolleyes
