Internal combustion engines are more dangerous than EV

In 2022 (Sg) : Cases of combustion engine vehicles had also gone up to 198 cases, from 152 in 2021.

Ask US what's that?
They will say it's a spy machine.

https://cnevpost.com/2024/04/03/talent-u...y%20Garden.

Talent has successfully developed the world's first automotive-grade, all-solid-state lithium metal battery prototype with a single cell capacity of 120 Ah and a real-world energy density of 720 Wh/kg, the company announced yesterday.

For comparison, Nio's (NYSE: NIO) 150-kWh semi-solid-state battery pack uses cells from Beijing WeLion New Energy Technology, with a capacity of 360 Wh/kg.

The EV maker said last month that the pack will be in service in the second quarter and will give Nio vehicles a range of more than 1,000 kilometers on a single charge.

Talent's all-solid-state battery has twice the energy density of WeLion's semi-solid-state battery, meaning it is expected to give EVs a range of around 2,000 kilometers if it can be mass-produced.

The race is to improve the solid state battery. Of course it was developed a long time ago but the battery developed a long time ago is just not good enough. R & D is about continuous improvement.

Nobody takes something to do R&D and makes it bad to sell in the market. It is commonly known that Asians are good at innovation.

Market sales have a lot to do with the ability to innovate. Think the Japanese are not sitting idle.

Japan will tap the dirt cheap Indian workers for manufacturing. It used to do that in China but wages in this country is no longer able to complete with those in Vietnam, India and Indonesia.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Some of the things China innovated include the bicycle, wheel barrow, paper, silk.

China lost 3 decades because of Mao.

After catching up, it will set the gold standard for 6G. I am not sure about 7G because 6G can drive drones in a comprehensive system for attack and defence. Then WW3 breaks out and soon after, the antichrist will appear. I don't know what will happen. Countries will fight with swords again because gen AI will neutralize all weapons which run on computer aid devices and cause ICBM to fall like dead birds from the sky.

In the event, a battery that's cheaper, lasts longer and safe is nor necessarily a good stock to buy. Broad swords and the regular double edged swords are a better stock, and the Chinese have a good knowledge of making these. The Japanese will mass produce samurai swords. Both don't run on battery. U thought those technology that u are enjoying now just happened overnight? For example someone first came up with a mobile phone, then over the years engineers and scientist made incremental improvements on it until what we have today. Understand? Not just use mouth to talk then things happened overnight.
