CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three US Marshal officers are dead and four Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officers are injured after a shooting in East Charlotte.
One of the officers is in critical condition, according to Chief Jennings with Charlotte police.
In total, eight officers were shot in the incident.
One suspect is dead and two persons of interest are in police custody for questioning, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
