Pro govt folks will say the PAP handled it well as they investigate instead of hiding. But my counter argument (along the vein of high pay low corruption) is that the calibre of PAP has to be unquestionable since pay high and they are of good characters after validation by PAP. Unquestionable means they know that they are to uphold standards and not do dumb things just because they are in position or nobody is looking...

I can agree to PM Lee argument that they cannot be moral guardian on each individual member but if members are not behaving right, it has to be nip in the bud. Not wait a couple of years or when a public exposure is about to occur..

The same standing has to apply to all parties and members. Cannot expect others to be flawless but ownself hides behind genuine mistake and move on clause...
