New coronavirus mystery: Some are getting COVID-19 again even after taking Paxlovid
#1

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, said Wednesday that the National Institutes of Health also are looking to study whether a longer course of Paxlovid is needed.

Some coronavirus-positive patients who have completed treatment of the anti-COVID drug Paxlovid are rebounding into illness, and experts are urging people to be cautious if they develop COVID-like symptoms again and become infectious.

Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said post-Paxlovid COVID-19 relapses are "real."

"They've happened in a significant enough number that they've been noticed by lots of folks in lots of different places," she said.

Among those observing the rebound was Dr. Paul Sax, an infectious disease expert at Harvard Medical School, who recounted in a recent blog post how a patient with COVID-19 rapidly recovered after taking Paxlovid but a week later called him back saying she'd relapsed. Although the symptoms weren't as bad as her initial illness, rapid test results showed she was "clearly positive again."

It simply means Jabbs not broad-spectrum
Researchers already knew that many vaccinated people do not gain antibodies to the entire coronavirus after they are infected with Covid.
Unvaccinated people nearly always gain antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein, which covers the virus’s core of RNA, as well as its spike protein, which allows the virus to attack our cells. Vaccinated people often lack those anti-nucleocapsid antibodies and only have spike protein antibodies.
In other words they become weaker and weaker from inflammations or other damages that led to clotting impeding blood flows.

if 'Vaccinated people often lack those anti-nucleocapsid antibodies and only have spike protein antibodies' is intentional, it opens a big can of worms.
Your white blood defenders might not gobble them up for their own lack of informations.

True, especially the mRna, is limited.
It only depend of antibodies count advantage, but it is due to number of spike protein induced
to create the antibodies.
Too many spike proteins may causing unexpected damage as those severe infected.
Also to unwinding the antibodies, body create Autoantibodies which may mick the virus
