I hope they are not going to take away half of Toa Payoh Town Park to build this.

Toa Payoh is special a very old satellite town even earlier than Ang Mo Kio where I used to live when young. I guess Polyclinic will be good move for all the elderly.

I used to lived in Toa Payoh too in my teenage years.  A sports centre, polyclinic and library is long over due...........

They have an existing library and polyclinic now. Just that they are a bit small. They also have a stadium and swimming pool now. Hopefully they use the land which the existing stadium and swimming pool are on for this new building instead of taking land away from the Town Park.

not that place too small, must be the golf range and industrai area drive by can see. A golf ball ever hit my car windscreen many yrs ago no cracked.

Confirmed leow. The whole plot of land where the stadium, swimming pool and town park are will be utilised for this new integrated development.

In fact is quite interesting is the Old library what they going to do, a shopping mall?
TPY central don't have a real shopping mall , last time got opposite court but end up become a property company building.

Actually there will be New batch of BTO Flat with a Shopping so call also near TPY is caldecott mrt area there.

Old library quite small lah. How to become shopping mall? It's one of the smallest public library in Singapore.
