New variants in the UK! B.1.621 strain "from Colombia" has spread to 26 countries

The Department of Public Health (PHE) announced on the 23rd that a new variant of the virus, also known as the "B.1.621" variant, has been found. Currently, 16 citizens have screened positive and public health units have launched an investigation. 

Colombia notified the world's first B.1.621 diagnosis in January this year, which is regarded as the possible source of this variant virus. Since then, countries such as the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, and India have successively notified cases, and there are currently cases in 26 countries.
