There are lots of Russians in Phuket, locals hate them as they are rude and unfriendly. When I was in Phuket for a short trip, I saw hundreds of Russians at airport, my tour guide/private driver chased Russian young people away as they blocked the view when we took photo…he told me one of Russians broke his car door and walked away without apology let alone compensation.
