Ng Chee Meng faces backlash for perceived downplaying of Singaporeans’ job security concerns

NTUC sec-gen Ng Chee Meng faced backlash for downplaying Singaporeans' job security concerns.

Citing an NTUC survey showing 34% of workers worried about job loss in the next three months, Ng attributed anxieties to robotics, AI, and the economic outlook.

However, many netizens challenged his views, stressing foreign manpower fuels job insecurity and calling for greater transparency in manpower policies.

Up till now, he still has no idea how these anxieties arises

Then do Fake NTUC Survey for what?

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

How will someone who's whole life never have to worry about job security (from Army to MP, minister, even after lose job as minster/MP, still get a job as union chief).

I alway joke about this.. How will an ex-general who never faced job security, be NTUC chief, and how can son of punggol, who is a doctor by training, be a rep of one of NTUC sub union (can't remember is electrical or something similar, but definitely not medical field). How will he understand the issues faced by the members of that sub union.

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..
