During a walk in Fernvale, I saw a young mother with her kids and some seniors under the blazing sun waiting for the green man to cross the road. I mentioned this at dinner and a thoughtful young person suggested Crosswalk Umbrellas! This can provide shade or even spray mist to keep pedestrians cool! 🌤️🚶‍♂️🌂

I think it’s a creative and practical suggestion that can enhance comfort and liveability in the area.

It is an irony when the NTUc Insurance was a big  umbrella to protect the insured members but he wanted to sell it away. Now he wants to place an umbrella to protect pedestrians from the sun. How many dumb people will believe him now?

Such a sarcastic display of false care for the people.
