Why Are Singapore’s Politicians Paid So Much?. S'pore’s politicians are known to be highest paid in the world.
Is there a reason for this?
(Cannot be counting money & by Corrupted a very sample words)
According to the Public Service Division (PSD), the govt looks for people with a strong sense of public service, but knows that that alone might not be enough to run a country well. There are other qualities that it looks for, such as organisational and leadership capabilities, capacity to handle multiple responsibilities, and the ability to take charge in a crisis. Those who are in the top 1,000 earners tend to have a reasonable level of those qualities and abilities. This is why ministerial salaries are benchmarked to that group of people, but with a 40% discount.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has also stated that ministers earn a clean wage, meaning that the salary is the only remuneration that they receive. There aren’t any hidden or additional perks that come with the job.

The current NTUC Secretary-General mentioned this at dinner, to which someone suggested crosswalk umbrellas.
According to a rough artist’s mockup, the umbrella would be attached to a pole next to the traffic light and cover a large chunk of the pedestrian waiting area.

Not a bad idea especially at closing to mrt Stations where pedestrian traffics r heavy. Depending on the umbrella design and wind air lift force, it is not rocket sciences to find solutions to counter strong winds which is once a while. Moreover, it is not expensive to repair them. Never try never gain.

The first word I heard from a resident was "die! die! die!". I thought what happened to him.
Every election, pappies score very high in this GRC. Now they throw a rejected goods here so that she can remain in parliament.

It is an irony when the NTUc Insurance was a big  umbrella to protect the insured members but he wanted to sell it away. Now he wants to place an umbrella to protect pedestrians from the sun. How many dumb people will believe him now?
Such a sarcastic display of false care for the people.

Yes, indeed. If NTUC Income is his baby, he will not just sell it off? If the Insured are really his PaP colleagues, he will not dare to touch. If Ng CM really cares for the insured, he will not short change them.
