Unlike Pfizer, Noravax is a small company and is very slow in vaccine production, must queue first and wait for years to get what you order.

Small is correct. Now waiting to iron out manufacturing hiccups and waiting for FDA and EUA greenlight. Once approved it should start rolling out vaccines in the millions as they already have deals outsourcing the manufacturing to India [largest in the world] and now Japan.
What is Sinpwn doing is still a mystery.... Denmark oredy chope a batch liao.

I supposed our govt is already getting the Novavax supplies near Dec 2021.  Read this article which was out in June 2021.  https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/s...e-year-end?&utm_source=whatsapp&utm_medium=social-media&utm_campaign=addtoany.

even if they resolve the issue, mass production takes time, it has to set up more factories in multiple countries to meet the demand. Many countries have to fight for the vaccine...even for Pfizer despite it has many factories worldwide, it can’t cope with the huge demand, many countries failed to get the vaccines, others must queue and wait for months to get small portion of shat they ordered.

So easy. Pay to use the formula and then produce here and sell to others and use ourselves.

Quote:Takeda, Japan's biggest drugmaker, is preparing to make the vaccine domestically and will distribute it in early 2022, pending approval from regulators, the company said in a statement. The TAK-019 vaccine is still undergoing clinical trials in Japan, according to Takeda.

Japan should be getting theirs next year pending approval.

there are hundreds of vaccines under testing worldwide, must get approval from WHO, garment approval is useless.

Salah. Your own garbagemen's approval matters ony. It is up to Garbagemen to choose whether to go by WHO guidelines or not.

At first, they have a bright prospect. Later part, Covaxin and Novavax wish to apply for Emergency Use Approval in US. Apparently, Covaxin asks first. Read somewhere that they are to get approval from 3rd country first. US withdraws funding to Novavax.
Approval in Australia at stake. Trial participants are not recognised as vaccinated. Fauci had indicated that there would be more approvals but subsequently there was no news from him.

Covaxin got India government support. Novavax got Serum Institute of India's support. With partnership with Serum, they apply to Indonesia and the Philippines for  Emergency Use Approval.

The next bet for Novavax is as booster shot or a combined vaccine with Covid-19 and flu.

One of the pros of non-MRNA vaccine is dat it doesn't require extreme cold storage unlike Moderna and pfizer.

The problem is you may not be able to travel to other countries if you are vaccinated with some brand that is not endorsed by WHO....the typical example is Taiwan's Medigen vaccine that was approved by Taiwan MOH but is not recognized by other countries let alone WHO.

Tiongkok ony recognise their own approved vaccines. Like I say, WHO can recommend but it is really up to the individusal country to adopt.
