Reminds me of a Taoist/ Buddhist Funeral last Sept or so. The family invited Drummers used by the exact same Lion Dance tune for the final day to go with the chanting. So neighbours also had to celebrate the death of the elderly together.

The HDB block opposite mine had around 4 performances. I think only 1 is booked earlier with the other 3 being decisions made on the spot with the homeowner inviting them over to perform. My relatives and I gotta see 4 lion dance performances the day before yesterday.
