Actually Banks in the first place No need debt collector. On the legal paper when the borrower sign , in condition if xxx time etc they never continue to pay the debts etc Bank will confiscate any asset they owned.

Actually is waste time , out of 10 borrowers , 9 confirm go hide , or give excuses etc only 1 might will pay after been pester etc.

Just learn from Govt greedy PAP using Strict regulation people will obey.

If you have frens working in banks, bank not so easy open mouth confiscate means can, they need go through lawyer and that cost monies. If the amount is small and the debt collector can help you to settle at a cut of the recovered monies compared to the monies you pay lawyer which is so expensive it is cheaper to go through debt collectors.

Know why old era ppl say want to earn big bucks be doctor lawyer architect etc for a reason. In Spore politicians also can earn big bucks.

My own case father died to get that letter of probate my mum appeal to her MP and she recommend but still we are charged 200-300 for a piece of paper. Imagine no go through connections wonder how much that piece costs. So ppl who got kids if cannot study into doctor be lawyer can earn big bucks!
