Huh? why pick on those not vac?
Is there a guarantee that those vac will not spread the virus?

and why market?
what about supermarket, minimart (NTUC , giant, SS etc)? people pick and choose fruits and vege also? on top of that what about those take and put back items?

Just wash, sanitise your foods before cooking and eating. Touching foods is unavoidable wan.
Lidat everyone must wear glove to buy food, waste how many plastic bags a day?
Sanitise hands before touching, sanitise hands after touching.

If touching vegetables spread virus, then it is because people dun follow basic safety instruction. People are supposed to carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer around and clean hand when they touch any public things like lift buttons. Also dun touch face after mask on and wash yourself and clothings as soon as return home......... Rolleyes

Bad habits die hard...it becomes automatic to these uneducated uncivilised selfish  ah bengs, ah sohs, etc with itchy hands 

So must install hand sanitizers evetywhere...

Agree, and its good that SG start to have good hygiene practice and hopefully we can achieve like Japan culture.

I think it's not the touching of veges, but the squeezing of fish. Poke here and there to check freshness...hence covid spreads from fisheries to old folks.

The same rules apply, wear good mask properly. Routinely disinfect hands. And do not touch eyes and nose till hands are properly disinfected.

If everyone follow these three rules, the experts will have no job. We do not need them.

Wolaoeh. Exchanging coins and change worst right? Every second ppl pay for something. Ppl serve drinks and food also spreading lor. Still not solving problem. Many too obsess with the virus and discriminating one and another instead of looking to God for mercy and grace .

the fruits and vegetables are imported from other countries, dunt know how many people have touched them before you buy them at supermarket.

the seafood also, must wash properly before cooking at home. Our seafood are imported from high risk countries like Msia, Thailand and Indonesia with daily cases above 10k.
