Hamas militants stormed into Israel from Gaza Strip on Oct 7 killed at least 1,400 people, mostly civilians who were shot, mutilated or burnt to death on first day of the raid, As Israel says around 1,500 Hamas fighters were killed in clashes as its army regained control of the area under attack.

This isn't the first time Israel has ground operation in Gaza, the last was in 2009 iirc.

Correction - their "ground operation" in Gaza started in the very year when the Jewish state was born from British deciet, lies and backstabbing on the Arabs and Palestinians.
That job was later taken over by another Anglo-Saxon country...the USA, which itself was born in war, violence and genocidal acts mid-wife by British..
