Heard Blinken promised the US will provide more battleships to Vietnam to fight China in SCS, other than that the U.S. has nothing to offer.

Like all the ASEAN countries Vietnam wants economic development and trade rather than fighting wars in SCS, which Uncle Sam wants to pull Vietnam and the Philippines in.
