This is How tech companies force you upgrade.... They purposely program the OS make your old computer feel more lagging.
is not just Windows Computers, Mac now a days also. If you are on an old Mac depend which model. Some will feel lag if you go install the latest OSX

Can't even backup and restore. On restore, it comes out error. And the HDD/ SSD will no longer be useable. The master table is destroyed. HDDs/ SSDs were detected but Zero bytes.

6 of them are relatively new. Had reformatted one of them. The rest will be repaired.

my computer using i7-4790k
new samsung SSD and new 32 GB ram
no issue even on windows 11
update no problem
no crash

You could have keep a lot of illegal software or Malwares that do not like the new system updates. It is telling you it is about time to get rid of them. Find and kill them

If it hangs often and if it slow on old computers, then it is time to change to Linux subset such as Ubuntu.

old computer should use old OS, is more economical.

OS does not boost much efficiency really.
