This topic was brought to discussion in Taiwan media few months back. When the senior feel entitled while the young thinks that all seats in the trains are meant for general public where it should not meant for specific group of public.
This is a problem when Taiwanese sees democracy as a form of freedom of expressions, where the young began to sees that they too have the rights to the seats. Many young ones in Taiwan no longer respects the senior like they used to, they have lost the Chinese teaching of ‘仁義道德’ which brought about such problems. Young one no longer respect the senior folks while senior take things into their own hand, thinking they will “educate” the younger generations.
