To be fair most paper general are not known to be tactical one. 
There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.
But now, they'll only do it for money.

Actually how many such generals did we used to have during his father’s time? Don’t recall we have so many or even any.
Most if not all of the MPs back then were hand picked from commercial world.
Unlike the father, the son cannot earn respect from the commercial world so have to rely on the military?

Never once earned any respect through their own efforts
