Having a job is the best training. Just randomly taking up courses is a waste of time if the workplace does not allow us to practise it.

Suggest to convert to CDC vouchers if government serious to help us cope with inflation. Since the sum is already budgeted.

Dun think this little money is enough for serious skills upgrading. But it's good for people who want to pick up an interest... so not totally useless. Unfortunately I see many sinkies have no hobbies other than eat and shop, read instagram and facebook...

SkillsFuture credit is a failure.

without SkillsFuture credit, small minority’ of S’poreans take own courses.
with SkillsFuture credit, small minority’ of S’poreans take own courses.

PAP need to check before SkillsFuture credit, if small minority’ of S’poreans take own courses.
if it is true, after SkillsFuture credit, it will be still small minority’ of S’poreans take own courses.

calibre of PAP minister is low.

It would be good if the unutilised balance of the Skillfuture funds for can be encash at the end of each budget year. Same for the U-SAVE o/s cash balance.  This would encouraged consumers to cut down on unnecessary wastage of electricity/gas and water bills, knowing that the more they cut down usage the more cash they cld have to alleviate their other needs.
