That's why our system is drastically different from these Scandinevian countries. They are willing to pay higher taxes hence in the end the income gap between individuals isn't that great. When people are more or less the same, they stop comparing with one another and as a resilt, their happiness increases. It is not surprising that these people are the happiest in the world. As I've always said, people are unhappy because they compare with one another. When everyone is poor, everyone can be happy.
