PAP may lose more votes in upcoming election but will definitely remain in power

Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong acknowledges the possibility of opposition gains, but historical trends and electoral structures suggest that the People's Action Party is likely to form the Singapore government again, despite a potential decrease in voter support in the upcoming election.

new citizens already form a large part of our population, just that cannot publicly publish the population census.
with their support, it should be a resounding win for them, just that they want win more votes via their usual mind game.

Jobs for foreigners, NS for local males and pay hike for Ministers. With such a strategy, how will the ruling party hold onto power except by handing out S'pore citizenship to foreigners who will be beholden to the Govt?

During the run up to every General Election for the past few decades, the ruling party has been accused of unfair electoral practices such as gerrymandering, to maintain a significant majority in Parliament. As the Elections Dept is not an independent body, but forms part of the executive branch under the Prime Minister critics opine that it enables the incumbent party to decide electoral boundaries, based on poll results in the previous election.

Seniors only see the "chicken wings" from the Govt, but forget that those wings came from the whole chicken taken from their children and grandchildren.
