Since 2021 tip of, police can sit and wait for 3 years to expose the crime, why not wait for another 3 years or 5 years with a much larger amount?

Ravi Menon, the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s longest-serving chief, is poised to leave the central bank this year, according to people familiar with the matter.

Menon, who turns 59 this year, has been at the helm of the MAS since 2011 and his current term ends on May 31

Menon, who turns 59 this year, has been at the helm of the MAS since 2011 and his current term ends on May 31

"An April report from Bloomberg had said Menon was poised to leave MAS this year, and cited Chia as his most likely successor.

A month after the report, which cited its sources as “people familiar with the matter”, MAS in May announced that it had reappointed Menon as managing director for two more years.

The reappointment was effective from Jun 1 to May 31, 2025, or until his retirement from the public service, whichever is earlier."

In 2021, police already be informed and started investigation .

Since the police knew everything as early as 2021, why should  MAS manging director Ravi Menon step down?

There's no good reasons for MAS chief to step down as Mr Menon has been doing an excellent job .

Please let Mr Ravi Menon to stay on till May 31 2025.

Singapore is the biggest financial centre in Asia and the number of billionaires has grew from 400 to 1100 contributed largely to the importance of Singapore wealth management

Puzzle why police didn't inform MAS chief about their investigation in 2021/2022?

Hearsay, MAS chief employment contract was approved and extended 2 years ending 31 May 2025.

So no reason to step down end 2023

Since MAS chief employment contract was just renewed and extended to 31 May 2025, why was he to be replaced end 2023?

No one understands what's happening

PAP , sham claim is NOT Due to china .

as Just after Wang Yi left SG , this billion laundering coincidence been dig out and 10 suspects been arrested, etc all the raid.....

For me I still Don't believe.
Partly Wang Yi before come SG , he was at Thailand also tell the Thai govt " watch out , his PRC doing money laundering in Thailand "

From China side, they raid a online gambling site and happen to dig out one of the suspect live in SG.
