This is a credit card fraud. It can happen to any bank. It has happened many times before. So when you use credit cards, be very careful to use them only on trusted retailers. It is possible that scammers can hack in the retailers and get your credit card information. All they need to do is to intercept your SMS message to complete the transaction. Think the banks should insure against such credit card fraud. SG rules on credit card is almost the same as the US rules

We have fake Amazon websites that people may not be aware of.
