The opposition MPs have come out with some wonderful proposals
But the PAPigs just won’t listen to them
All because they are opposition views

One of the proposals was to prevent HDB owners from buying private properties
At the moment HBD has a big loophole in their policy but they refuse to acknowledge it

Private owners who want to buy HDB flats have to sell their private home first
That’s not all
After selling, they need to rent a home for one year before they can buy a HDB flat from the open market
If they want to apply to buy new HDB flat, they will be at the bottom of the queue and have to fulfill a host of conditions

Oppo is proposing that the same rules should apply
That is, HDB owners must sell away their HDB homes before buying a private property
And they must stay in their HDB homes for five years before selling

Leong is trying to argue to make HDB housing affordable to all
But the PAPigs are arguing that his proposal will cause a collapse of the resale market (for HDB flats)
What kind of farking logic is that?
You buy an affordable flat to live, NOT to resell to make a profit ah!

HDb flats cost more than $1m resale market shows they have failed miserably. Not only unaffordable but very unaffordable.

PM Lee damn lucky to have such oppos who care for the people, highlighting the housing unaffordability issues. HDB rules must be changed to ensure generations after generations can afford cheap low cost housing. Why other countries can do it, here cannot. Always want to compare many stuff with overseas but totally silent on housing.

No one, as in NONE, asked or mentioned on this flawed policy
