Sorry I have a question may be a bit insensitive.

How come he did not go for annual checks for his heart to make sure it's okay. At least have to do ECG right? No matter how poor one should spend on annuall check ups.

He is top chef definitely can afford very thorough checkups.

He looks quite fit. Maybe he did not anticipate that he will get heart since he's so fit.
