PMET positions took up over half of the job vacancies in 2024, driven in part by strong demand for skilled talent in sectors like finance and ICT.

I switched from a degree path to a trade skill last year because I got tired of job-hopping. If you're considering doing the same, I found https://www.onlytradeschools.com/ super useful for checking out different short-term programs that lead to stable PMET roles. Some of those jobs don’t need a degree and still pay well, especially with demand going up.
