To protect future military plant from Russia missiles, Rheinmetall is ready to deploy its own air defence equipment. Probably we are talking about MANTIS anti-aircraft systems and Skynex self-propelled anti-aircraft systems. The latter went into production only two years ago. Skynex is equipped with a 35 mm Oerlikon Mk3 cannon, which can fire at a range of 4 km. Its rate of fire is 1,000 rounds per minute. The system is designed to counter cruise missiles, drones and aircraft.
