Russian Foreign Ministry, recently said that the plant would be a "legitimate target for the Russian army.".

Following these words. CEO of Rheinmetall said the company will not abandon plans, we build the plant. Clapping Armin Papperger added that Rheinmetall the main goal is to support its Ukrainian partners in the fight for freedom and democracy. To meet urgent needs Ukrainie defence forces armoured vehicles. It is expected company will be able to produce upto four hundred main battle tanks annually and will repair armoured vehicles.

To protect future military plant from Russia missiles, Rheinmetall is ready to deploy its own air defence equipment. Probably we are talking about MANTIS anti-aircraft systems and Skynex self-propelled anti-aircraft systems. The latter went into production only two years ago. Skynex is equipped with a 35 mm Oerlikon Mk3 cannon, which can fire at a range of 4 km. Its rate of fire is 1,000 rounds per minute. The system is designed to counter cruise missiles, drones and aircraft. Big Grin

Ukrainian President Zelensky urged his government on Thursday to keep a tight rein on spending in wartime, in a call that resulted in his culture minister, a proponent of several high-profile and costly projects, offering his resignation.

“In a time of war like this, the maximum amount of state attention and therefore state resources should go to defence,” A video address, referring to a conversation he had earlier with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal... to find alternative funding for projects “that are really necessary.

This applies to various areas, including culture. Museums, cultural centres, symbols on television series, but we have other priorities.”... Tongue
