The investigation of Singapore's Transport Minister S. Iswaran by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) has concluded, leading to the referral of the case to the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) for further legal action.

This update was provided in Parliament on January 9 by Education Minister Chan Chun Sing in response to a parliamentary question from Progress Singapore Party's (PSP) Non-Constituency MP Hazel Poa.

I think it’s more of a case they are waiting for Pinky whether to proceed
IMO, I think if more “top people” were involved, it will not proceed
Probably someone involved or under investigation also may threaten to spill more beans
Usually this type of situation, a lot of dark dark secrets

Tampines & West Coast GRCs are there for the taking

yes or no corruption why so hard to conclude. Erosion of high integrity under pm lsl , minority race involved sure will get off lightly if found corruption.

By right CPIB should be independent, no need to consult AGC. Just need to send report to PM, and up to PM to announce the verdict or not. If PM hide the truth, then is something wrong.

Cpib does not consult agc . They only report to pm for consent to proceed.

On this case, probably pm gave his consent so cpib throws the case to agc to prosecute.

Cpib cannot prosecute lah. They are investigating bureau.

If this case happens in China, you won’t see him anymore. 宁可杀错,不可放过。

If no need to report to PM, then cpib can be corrupt itself, how? They will have too much power. Scary.
