I think it's more the power elite in his own country want him out for his foreign policy which they disagree.

US wants him out for being friendly to Russia and China but I think it's baloney to think US can plot his ouster ....given there are so many groups in Pakistan who want him out. Some are radical Muslims with connections to Taliban...it is disadvantage for US if such groups take power.
