So I go to my DBS account i saw there is one option Pay bill. I choose that one is automatic monthly will pay the electricial , town council bill right?

but I saw there is another option stated recurring bill payment. So which one ? to pay bill automatic

1. Charge to credit card
2. Charge to debit card
3. Charge to bank account under giro or with standing instructions

I can't choose recurring bill payment as that message show i don't have active debit card but I got.

Than I go Giro, I never see my Bishan TPY town council , I only see Marina and Hougang

Dont choose the recurring one, you may need to call them to remove the service.

Better dont do automatic charging, they overcharge or double charge you, you may not know.

I actually wanna set auto payment , so under Pay bill option is automatic too ? Or everytime i need go there pay?

If you enable automatic charging, you will not check your bill lah.

the paybill can be done :
payment for 1 time only

add this company to the list n can pay future bills to same company no need to enter company name again
not sure call dbs n they will guide u on the phone

Currently all my house bill and property tax are paid via grio from another bank account. In future I will not use that account anymore plan to close. Thus I explore to pay via DBS online banking .

I just now go google check around it seem like all 3 option the same can automatically deduct .


Under pay bill after you in put which gov gency also under bill reference that 11 digit no is your bill account key in than select which bank account after that I think from there you can choose pay one time or automatic deduct

The POSB or DBS Pay Bill for recurring is not GIRO. Think of it like saved Payee. Then later no need remember the billing organisation number just tap and it goes.

While you input the gov agency than key in that gov agency bill account , then it will ask you pay one time or automatic deduct right?

I preferring under PayBill option.

I haven’t try yet partly I still got money in that account via giro pay all bills

I google around is under pay bill once you key in your bill account they will ask one time payment or automatic isn’t
