It feels like everyone's jumping from job to job these days, but that doesn't mean it's the best move for everyone. Staying in a job for a longer time can give you stability and let you build a solid reputation, which is something that takes time to happen. Plus, if you’re looking to grow in your field, like clinical lab work, it can help you stick with a job and gain more specialized experience. And, if you're certified by something like the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification is recognized internationally, you can feel confident that your qualifications are recognized worldwide. It’s a good balance between gaining experience and being patient with your growth.

Hopping may get 500 to 1k more. If stay put employer won't give you so much increase. Unless is a promotion.
Further, hopping gives you a sense of employability. Learn new things in a new environment. Hopefully a more understanding boss.
