Dead Dragon is like an Old Machine cannot move

Actually now AI and Careers Future can set a rule for

all Professions earning between $5k to $12k to be posted

So that every once a week, MOM knows how many vacancies in the 80/130 Professions

to STOP issuing EP to FTs

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Permanent secretary Jeffrey Siow, 46
Mr Jeffrey Siow is second permanent secretary at Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). His resignation was announced on March 25, and his last day in service is April 2.

He has spent 24 years in Govt, has held various senior roles, including managing director of statutory board Enterprise S'pore and principal private secretary to Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong when he was a prime minister.

At MOM, he implemented policies on foreign manpower, workplace safety, health, & fair employment. At MTI, he worked on strengthening Singapore’s economic growth, as well as its relations with key partners like Asean, the US & China. Mr Siow has also had stints at transport, education and manpower ministries.

MOH deputy secretary (policy) Jasmin Lau, 41,
will leave public service on March 31. She served in MOH from 2013 to 2019, looking at healthcare finance & overseeing development & regulation of medical & long-term care insurance in S'pore.
She returned to ministry in Nov 2021 after a stint at Economic Development Board (EDB).

Ms Lau oversees manpower, financing regulatory measures in healthcare system. Other projects she has overseen at MOH include Healthier SG White Paper in 2022, which places focus on preventive care, rather than the traditional hospital-based approach to illness. She was on board of Building and Construction Authority & is a member of board of trustees for the S'pore Institute of Technology. Her other stints were at the Public Service Division, MOM, Ministry of Finance (MOF) and EDB.

If for the past decades till now things are not getting better with the same civil servants in charge, do you still have hope it will be better?
Worst when we are increasing the new  number of members we are enriching .So dun complain when the time comes when your life is getting tougher .
