Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech yesterday said that data from a Phase III trial demonstrated high efficacy of a booster dose of their Covid-19 vaccine against the virus, including the Delta variant.
They said a trial of 10,000 participants aged 16 or older showed 95.6 per cent effectiveness against the diseases, during a period when the Delta strain was prevalent.
The study also found that the booster shot had a favorable safety profile....

Now Sg having so many cases and so many deaths everyday after more than 80% fully vaccinated!

The efficacy is correct lah. It's the kill rate of delta is very high. Meaning if not for P & M, SG would have 10-20 C more fatalities. Simple logic leh....

what's the kill rate for China? 4000 of 80000 around 5% correct? SG (for delta) is 300 of 150000 or 0.2%. Tio boh?

Suspect they are making it the way like Viagra dose. They already had the experience.

Same vaccine, same dose. Effectiveness will wane again. mRNA vaccine is different from Inactivated Vaccine where the latter can result in the memory response.
Looks like the actual updated booster shots that cover Delta will not be available for the world as of now. The virus keeps mutating.

All these are simply sales talk. Previously when all these vaccines were discovered, they also claimed so, now what happened? All florists will always claimed their flowers are nice and beautiful.
