Many POSB and DBS Branches have closed down over the past 7 or maybe 10 years

causing great inconvenience to the elderly

But DBS said because not enough frontline staff

Most UK Banks open on Saturdays

till 12:30pm or till 3:30pm, too

But SG Banks are not catching up with service standards

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

They garnered lots of heartland accounts during early years....was like so convenient then.

Now having achieved their objectives, and knowing full well most people will not abandon their accounts, they just shut down branches to save cost and make lives very difficult for those seniors and less savvy .

All big neighborhood shopping centres will have bank branches. Also a lot of services can be done online now.

For the elderly, it can be a problem.
For those who know how to use digital banking it's really convenient.
Stay home, can buy goods, order food, transfer money, check bank a/c.
Got to keep up with the times.
