I called a plumber to repair my pipe. After he finished, he claimed that it is ok and quickly leave after I paid him. Then the pipe showed dripping, I called his shop and they claimed that my piping was deformed before he touched it. Not surprisingly, his shop business was bad.

All these are scammers trying to hit and run. Very despicable. Must be m’sians workers. Shd hv call the vendor more trusted.

That time my wife also engaged one as I had no time to repair it myself due to busy schedule. He charged my wife $60 but water leaking problem never resolved after his repair. He tikam wrongly.

My water leaking issue is seeping through the ceiling at the unit downstair.

The owner still asked me to split the bill. I told him let me check first. In the end, I solved the water leaking problem.

according to SCT

the provider MUST give a quotation before they arrived and before you allowed them to come to do a repair

if there is any changes to the cost
the provider must inform the owner before any repairs are made
either side can decline the work and the provider must leave

Unless ish piping issue (some washing machine ish installed directly to piping in the house) which seem like this case, else Washing machine itself normally ish not worth the repair after warranty expired, as ish servicing cost alone ish usually around $100 liao let alone the parts if need replacement.

Anyway ish really easier to just connect a hose from existing water source to the washing machine and\or connect a hose to an existing drainage hole for disposing dirty water then to have the washing machine connected to the piping system in the house. May not look as tidy and nice, but really save a lot of trouble over using piping.
