Just turn off the single working escalator and has the people organized to into one side walk up and one side walk down on the same escalator.
And fire dept better go survey this mall for fire hazard, why the basement not have any kind of emergency exit or fireman staircase that can be use to access outside or to the 1st flr? This kind of building design get pass Sinkapore high fire safety standard?
If have why not just open up the emergency exit\fireman staircase to allow people to up to 1st flr, would be much more faster than force the crowds to take the two small lifts.
There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.
