She is not alone in doing this. The young no longer believe in loyalty and working in one company for life.

They have seen how their parents, uncles and aunts lost their jobs during downturns and being well read and far better educated, they take a pragmatic approach towards working for peepur. Singapore's economic vibrancy which created far more jobs than we have locals to do also enabled them to pick and choose yet while knowing that they shouldn't stay with one company for too long.
