In today's attack, Russia used six Tu-95MS strategic bombers operating from Engels Airport in Russia's Saratov Oblast, which attacked targets in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro in the southeastern part of the country with cruise missiles.

The missiles initially flew towards Kiev, then changed course to Poltava, and after another maneuver hit the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

As a result of the attack, emergency power outages were introduced in several regions of Ukraine. They included the Kyiv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
