A 12-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a “warm and loving” foster carer who died after being hit by a car.
The child, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, will appear at Sheffield Youth Court on Saturday.

Emergency services were called at 7.10pm on Wednesday. The boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and suspected possession of a knife. On Saturday morning he was charged with murder.
