President Tharman must lead by example by using public transport instead of being driven around in a luxury car.

Taylor Swift is another public figure who talks so much about environmental protection, but look at the immense carbon footprint of her private jet which she travels all over the world in. The only way for the super wealthy to reduce their climate impact is to fly less and choose more sustainable forms of transport.

use a string tie up and go maybe more environ friendly.

all these count but it will not help the melting ice at the poles and daily high temperature or the flood or fire happening all over the place immeditely.

environ friendly visual effect type immedite. bigger one like temperature will take decades to happen.
we did not start abusing the environment only recently.
before industrialisation already have.

Bohbian, had to vote for him bcos the other 2 were not much better and oso out of touch with the commoners.
Hope his wife who seems to have more sense than him can point out the rubbish sense he makes. Cotton is the lesser of the 2 evils. Those polyester bags disintegrate quickly and will oso contribute to plastic particles in the environment that they are making us pay extra for @ supermkts.

If cotton iz so bad dan wear ony polyester clothes yah. Hypocrisy and rubbish rationale.

I am flabbergasted that the President is paid an annual salary of $1.54 m to tell us such trivial things! Taxpayers in SG are being swindled by the powers that be.

At least Tharman didn't say that we shouldn't use cotton tote bags in order to save the sheep from being cruelly manhandled while getting shaved. LOL!
