Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov, after announcing his  withdrawal from the Minsk agreements  , already doubted the expediency of holding an emergency summit of the "Quartet of Normandy" (Ukraine, France, Germany, Russia).

It will be recalled that President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Putin's recognition of the "independence" of Russia's quasi-formations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine - the so-called "LPR" and "DPR" -  is an escalation step.

The Ukrainian side understands all the possible risks associated with this, and therefore once again calls on Russia to resolve the issue of Donbass through diplomacy.
