To be fair initially it does seem many Russians do support the invasion, if russia figure ish to be trusted then over 90% of their people want this invasion to happen. Tiagong even those polled by foreign source ish said to be easily over 60% of Russians, as quite a number of Russia believe strongly that their emperor putin can make mother russia great again.
Just that nao they are the one losing and they themselves may be forced to go to the front to die, then start running nia.

These are strawberry gen youngsters who only know how to play video games but are scared of war and deaths, similar to the young Taiwanese who dunt wanna join the army to fight China. Nowadays the Russian soldiers are not like last time, they are cowards…during WW2 24 million red army soldiers died fighting against Hitler, there were many very capable generals, in the ZW style of Stalingrad 1.1 million Soviet soldiers died while Nazi Germsny lost 800k men.

Actually in WW2 many russian soldiers died due to the cold, the starving and also their own executional squads when they try to flee, and a lot do try to flee as just like Putin, Stalin back then send those russians to the front without proper weapon, clothing and food one. That why many rather flee than fighting.
So Nazi ish defeated mainly by the weather and landscape not really by russian's "bravery" lah.
