Our market is not big enough to support so many telcos. It's a mistake to give out so many telco licence in the first place. As a result, consolidation of telcos is inevitable. If govt is really worried about foreigners owning core infrastructure then just get Singtel to step in and buy over M1 lor. There's really no need for public consultation, just do what's best for the country. How come there was no public consultation when they raise the bus and mrt fares?
