Ray Dalio : how to prepare for crisis and not get caught in distress
#1

Ray Dalio makes some.very interesting observations. People often  don't  prepare for events that don't happen in their experience. Govt too.

How to understand and prepare requires us yo study history and learned what has happened in the past to appreciate what can happen in future and prepare for it.

Some time back I wrote that people have forgotten that hyper inflation can happen and within a short span of a few months wipe out all the buying power of your savings.
We are getting a taste of ot but not the full blown version. If you doubt the damaging effects you can look at what happened in Turkey and Sri Lakan where hyperinflation made savings in local  currency turn to toilet paper and retirees suffered.

I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
