1.  China govt already explained it won't do a bazooka stimulus. Yet markets and traders are expecting one. They are settings up for disappointment.

2. Every announcement on the stiimulus by the China govt has resulted in market selloffs including the announcement on 8 Oct that cause a 10% drop in HSI. It is stupid not to be are of what has happened.

3. China govt is incapabale of a big stimulus. The reason is yotal debt including local govt debt which the central govt has implicir guaranteed eceeds danger zone of 100% GDP.



4. Problem with Chuna economy like low birth rate and low consumption cannot be permanently solved by stimulus.

5. Trump tariffs will weaken China exports to a level that stimulus cannot help much even if they do it.

So far,  nothing special has been announced on the stimulus except 4 the detail of the debt swap 4 the hidden debt of the local government.   Some more,  the 6 trillions yuan debt swap is to b given in 3 years from 2024 to 2026 i.e. 2 trillion a year. The  market was obviously disappointed.  They were down around 1% at close. Tomorrow will c more action if there is no further good news coming out.
