Paudel said Madison was accompanied by three sherpa climbers on all three peaks.

Madison, who owns the company Madison Mountaineering based in Seattle, climbed the smaller but technically difficult Nuptse peak, at 7,855 metres (25,770 feet), on May 8.

in the end they still depend on sherpas...why cant they climb withiut sherpas carrying the bags??

sherpas are the real climbers not only do they climb they have to take care of these glory climbers

First peak and 2 peak have difference rates, fee is $14k, $7k? not free.
