They shd improve on the infrastructure not asking the residents to reduce electric usage. How much can you use, you need to fork up every single cent the wattage use, it is not FOC, nobody will actually wants to waste electricity?
Like improving on electrical grid wire using very low resistance wire. To reduce losses during transportation of electrical current to the household.

The worse thing about electricity is that we can’t store excess electricity generated.. We can only generate the amount need for everyday use.
Storage of electricity is not cheap and not feasible.

One way to cut electricity usage is to ban aircon from Spore. Just like they ban chewing gum, ban aircon becuz aircon really eat a lot of electricity and also spoil the environment. All switch to use fan if feel hot which also eat electricity but not as much as aircon.

Ban aircon is difficult, but ban vacuum cleaner is possible.

I am glad this backward Govt is adapting this 25 year old idea from America where there are 3 slots for electricity cost ie 12 midnight to 5 am is the cheapest.
