It is very hard to be retrain is the person is 45 or 50 years old.  You can't teach an old dog new tricks.....

When you have never been learning new things, then doing it is very difficult, even more so at 45. But if learning is part of your life then even when you're 60 you'll find it enjoyable and easy. It's the mentality. Sinkies from young are so focused on the end goal (which is the academic score) that they didn't realise that that is not the main aim. Of course, our society molded by the govt is the source of that problem.
